Proud to Announce Beautiful Liguria New Website!

June 15, 2011 by Anna Merulla / Tags: , , , , / 7 Comments

A lot has happened since I started writing this blog. I wrote my first post with the intent of promoting my region and let people know more about Liguria, which is mostly known for the Cinque Terre area. I thought there was too much to experience than just visiting only the Cinque Terre (which are beautiful and charming villages).

I wrote almost three times a week. I really enjoyed the writing and all readers comments, e-mails till I became so busy that sometimes I couldn’t respond to every single person who wrote to Beautiful Liguria (and I’m sorry).

But last winter, I was able to take a breather and realized that I really wanted to share my ligurian passion and collaborate with ligurian people (structures, tour guides and more..) creating a new Beautiful Liguria website, with the intent to be the reference point for those who want to experience Liguria and immerse themselves with its traditions and culture.

So, after months of work with collaborators, we’ve launched a new Beautiful Liguria on-line website. Beautiful Liguria blog will continue to exist and I’ll continue to write about my loved region.

The new “Beautiful Liguria” website will side the blog. On the new website, which is currently a “work in progress”, we would like to take care of your ligurian vacation and treat with attention to make it a unique experience.

Thanks for keeping up with Beautiful Liguria blog, hope you’ll join also the new website at www.beautiful-liguria.com

Grazie!!

Anna

Congratulations on your beautiful new website! I took a look and it’s lovely. Nice work.

I wanted to thank you for your efforts on this blog. I picked up a lot of interesting and helpful trips ahead of my two week visit to Liguria a few weeks ago in May. I’m a photographer and had been to the region once before, many years ago. But have been anxious to return and explore again with my camera. I’m so enamored of this enchanting corner of Italy in fact, that I’m altering an upcoming trip to Nice (France) to include three or four days taking the train up the coast and into Italy so that I can check out some of the places I missed in May (because I caught a terrible cold and was sick for a full 5 days of my two-week vacation) – Cervo, Laiguelia, Alassio, Albenga, Finalborgo, Albisola, Noli, Celle Ligure, Varazze, Cogoleto. I also hope to visit Dolceacqua and Apricale during my time in Nice.

Keep up the good work! And if you’d like to follow along as I process the pictures from my trips to your gorgeous corner of Italy, I’m trying to post an image of Liguria each day to both my Flickr stream and one of my blogs. Links below -
