I have spent the afternoon in fine company … watching the dvd documentary of Genovese singer, Fabrizio de Andre.

It has subtitles in English.

I loved it.

Well yes, this isn’t the first time I have watched Effedia – Sulla Mia Cattiva Strada which translates as On My Own Bad Road.

Fabrizio was Genovese storyteller and a singer. I enjoy hearing him talk, reading the translations … hearing him sing, and tell his stories.

German director, Wim Wenders, raves about him. I am in good company. Recommended if you enjoy his music but lack Italiano.
