The Fountain, Piazza De Ferrari

May 16, 2012 by Di Mackey / Tags: , , , , / 0 Comments

This slice of fountain I captured today is central to one of Genoa’s main meeting points. If I’m meeting locals for aperitivo or dinner, they usually tell me that they will meet up with me in Piazza De Ferrari.

Today I had to pass by the fountain, more than once, and each time I saw how beautiful it was in the light. I had to stop and take this photograph.

Fish Festival in Camogli

Fish Festival

In a small square of the charming village of Camogli you will discover the world's largest frying pan. The pan comes out annually on the second Sunday of May and is used to fry up loads of free fish handed out to villagers and tourists for the annual Fish Festival (Sagra del Pesce) dedicated to St Fortunato, patron saint of fishermen.A must!
