If it is the first time you are travelling to Italy, here you can find some tips which can be useful for planning your trip:
When to go to Italy
From April to June and late September to October are the best months for traveling in Italy, temperatures are usually mild and the crowds aren’t quite so intense.
August is not a good month to travel to italian beach resorts since these places are usually overcrowded and it is not easy to find availability for accommodations. Furthermore, most of the nation is on holiday in August. However, if you are planning to visit cities with their museums and monuments, July and August are good months. In fact, as said before, most Italians are on vacation and cities are easier to visit. During these two months traffic becomes easier and minimal.
Finally, during the summer, cities offer events, concerts, festivals, sagra at night.
From November to March the weather could be rainy and cold or pleasant and dry, it depends. The great thing is that during these months airlines flights are cheaper.
